Christmas Came Early This Year...

Okay, I feel I should at least blog twice since my absence was so long. I must say that our Christmas tree is officially chopped, propped, and decorated….Hopefully will have a picture of that up soon. You know us country folk, just can’t have a fake Christmas Tree…..

In other news: Christmas came quite early this year. Rumorville had it that there was a man in Urbana interested in buying a B-17 project after Liberty Belle had been through town. Well, he recently purchased a T-6 Texan , a good aircraft to learn how to fly a tail-dragger…. It should be noted that he already has two, count them, two, beautiful twin turboprop luxury planes. After further negotiations, the remains of a B-17 was indeed purchased and will be shipped here sometime Wed. This is HUGE!!! This means that my dad will be involved w/ the restoration of 3 B-17’s!!! There are only 13 flying in the whole world!!!! The man that owns Liberty Belle also has one that he is restoring in Georgia. Everyone is quite ecstatic.Um…

It should be noted that my weekends will be pretty booked up for roughly the next 15 years….
