High school was a 'blast'

Thought I would share some photos that I scanned over the weekend.... that's my pup when we got her....she was so small....

The other two are from high school .....Yes those are bombs.....and yes we are humping the bombs.....

Well it was a pretty busy weekend. I’ll keep the synopsis simple & short since I am sure you have already read it on Allison’s blog. Friday we went and kicked the ball around while Ash, her brother-in-law, and his son played catch. Then we headed over to play some Putt-Putt…. It started out as my usual game of Putt-Putt. I was making some solid putts and trying to bring my A game….. I had two aces which is pretty decent for me. I was still off on my medium distant putts, anywhere from 3-5 yards, and I think it really hurt. The back nine proved even worse. Feeling pretty confident of my victory, I awaited the totals from the evening…. I lost…. I fucking lost….to Ashley….and of course she had to rub it in…which included taunting, and public displays of "I’m better than youness.." including, but not limited to victory dances… Then we went to eat at this Mexican place outside of Urbana; Steve is probably the only one that knows it…. Food was actually pretty good…. Then we did the bar scene and went to Brackens. I had three shots of 151… Felt pretty good… then we went home and turned in…. Saturday we basically just hung out, all three of us… .They played "girlie" and did each others’ hair while I watched some soccer.
Later I went to Wittfest, please read blog below. I met up w/ the ladies later on and we headed back to Brackens, but left because it was dead. That was followed by a nice 3 am Frisco Melt at Steak & Shake…. Man those are good. ….

"Better than Nappy Roots"

Okay, So I realize that as a "former" student of Wittenberg I should probably not partake in Witt activities. That being said, I thought I would take advantage of Wittfest having an act that actually seems as though they have some talent. Yeah they aren’t brilliant, great, or even awesome….but good….simply put; good, maybe even decent. Well…..Even though I am pretty sure the ladies wanted to go, they were not going to be ready so I headed off to campus on solo. Campus was piping as usual and it seemed there were actually a good amount of people there.

As usual for a Witt function, I’d say only 50% of the attendees were actually Witt students…
Being there made me realize three things…First; Man I really actually miss college. Secondly, I realized that I really wasted away a lot of my college time. Definitely should have spent more time partying and what not. Lastly, ***Warning*** opinions ahead….Lastly, I really think that the music that the kids listen to today are making our society ‘numb’ to ‘decent’ musical talent…. Yeah, I’d say a good portion of people enjoyed the concert, but there was a large % that thought they sucked…. Honestly I think that a lot of people that I overheard say these comments did not attend Wittenberg because anyone that really did, would have actually thought to themselves, "Hey, this band is ‘decent’…." I did….Hey, we did go from Nappy Roots to Better Than Ezra…..I’d say that’s an improvement. Really what I’m trying to get at is that I actually thought they were pretty good and I think it’s shitty that because their music isn’t played in dance clubs or because they a ‘band’ and they write their own music that it’s cause for someone to throw a beer bottle at them……* it should be noted that this fact came from a very intoxicated Stevo… So…. Andy, I await your comments……. Seriously…. Would like to have your thoughts on this one….. even though you weren’t there….I’m sure you have a comment…more than likely you are going to end up punching me in the face…….

Really have been neglecting this thing here lately. I guess life is just moving at such a frantic pace anymore.... Andy; really hope you do right that book. I think it would make for an excellent read and keepsake for all of the "bro's" as well as a nice read for essentially anyone... I could even try and pitch it to the Wittenberg bookstore. You know, under the campus writers section. Tomorrow starts an entire week of hell for me.... I am starting on my certfication to be a manager at work. Just means a lot of extra work and studying. And then, after I get certified a week from tomorrow... I have to start taking a class once a week about 60 miles away.... blows goats it does.... but, I get paid for it and I get money for gas.

Really not to much else to say.... Actually, I could say a lot of things, but more than likely I will call you in a "drunken dial" at some point in time over the weekend. Oh, btw... Huge party at Steve's on the, the 12th is it? Yeah, gonna be a great fucking party.... I'm referencing his graduation party by the way..... oh yeah, hey Steve, what time should I tell the stripper to show up?

Fuck Jamaica, seriously.... I really actually liked "Cool Runnings" too....Damn Shame...

Alright folks.... I definitely have been neglecting this thing for quite some time.... Really not too much to report at this time... Steve & I's soccer team is off to an unprecedented 2-0 start... considering Jesus has scored 9 of our 10 goals thus far....

Pat & I enjoyed some of the good weather and kicked the old roundball around for awhile. Afterwards we had some pizza and some pasta. Then we watched the US and Jamaica game... What a horribly reffed game....It was just fucking ridiculous..... They played to a 1-1 tie.... With every game...I am beginning to become more and more concerned about this summer.

Ok...Right now I am drawing a blank.... Thank goodness Spring is here... Will catch everybody on the flipside....
