"Ask Not what your country can do for you, Ask what you can do for your country...."

I have began to realize that working at Fazolis has only opened my eyes to the world we live in today. Needless to say it is a sad sight. The disrespect, the lies, the cruelty, it sometimes is honestly to much to bear. I go to work everyday in a good mood. I make it a point to. You never know whose life you will touch at any given moment, but I do my best to put my best foot forward... Every day I come home broken....Our country is involved in a conflict which the motives and objectives are sometimes obscurred and it puts everyone in awkward positions and stances. I make it a point to thank God for those who have given their life for their country. I pray for the day when Jared comes home for good safe and sound. Looking and watching people, it makes me wonder if they realize what has been sacrificed in order for them to become the complete slackers of today's society. I recently found myself asking others if they wouold be willing to give their life for their country. The answer was always the same. No. I can honestly say that I would not volunteer to die for my country. As my grandfather once said, "Don't volunteer for anything..." This coming from a man who was drafted in early '42 and didn't get out of the Air Force till the early 80's.... However, if my country needed me to die in order for my children to live free, my answer would be Yes. Perhaps it is the realization that our existence is not forever. Perhaps it is the notion of making a better world for younger generations.... Perhaps it is just pure morals. So ask yourself; Are you willing to give your life for your country if called upon? Ask yourself; do you know someone from your past or present that gave their life so that you can treat that asshole who gave you that dirty like shit? Perhaps dying of a heartattack while choking down a twinkie at the age of 52 would be better? I think the slogan that the Liberty Foundation chose is correct. Freedom is NOT Free...God Bless America......Come Home Safely....
